Every wedding I capture, I stress out the week before, wondering how the weather’s going to be like. And with the amount of rain Melbourne’s been getting (plus the record low temperature levels), it’s no wonder. It was more or less unpleasant the whole week, but Saturday was scheduled to be a really nice but freezing cold day. Leaving the house on Saturday morning, I panicked when I found the car was covered in a sleet of ice. Thank goodness I managed to scrape it off and warm the car enough to drive it to Sofitel.
Which brings me to Kris & Rosi’s wedding. I did enjoy being part of their celebrations at Wesley Uniting Church at Box Hill and then at No35 at Sofitel. It was one of the smaller weddings I’ve attended, but still a very intimate affair. Having some down time was also pretty nice, enabling me to socialize a bit more and make some new friends. 🙂
So Kris & Rosi, thanks for having me again (yup, I photographed their engagement as well!), enjoy your honeymoon, and hope you have a really happy and fulfilling marriage! Thanks also to Apple from Pristine for the hair and makeup!
