Note: This is a bit late, but I enjoyed the festive season too much. Hope you guys had a great NYE. I’ll be posting up pics of my roadtrip soon.
We first visited this place about 3 years ago and loved it. For those who don’t know, residents The Boulevard in Ivanhoe decorate their houses and gardens with Christmas displays annually, usually two weeks before Christmas, starting from 8.30pm to 11.30pm. It’s a great and cheap experience for everybody (which is why every year it’s jam-packed with visitors).

Without the benefit of a tripod (I usually don’t use one for mobility), here’s what I shot. If you’re planning to visit it this year, here’s my advice:

  1. Come early. It’s a lot nicer at dusk. Plus you get the chance to park somewhere nearby.
  2. Bring insect repellant. It’s amazing how many mozzies you attract.
  3. Take your time, and have fun!
