Your Best Camera…

is the one you have now. So says Chase Jarvis, photographer, author, blogger, educator and app producer. That’s a whole lot of hats to wear huh. ;)

I take it to heart. It’s simply not quite possible lugging my DSRL with me to work everyday, and nor do I have the moolah to fork out for a Fuji X100. Then again, I’m simply waiting for Nikon to produce something like the Sony NEX series, one that works with my existing Nikon lenses (please please please!).

Anyway, in the meantime. I meant to post something else this week, but wanted to hold off on it til I get my permissions right.

iPhone photography is nothing new, it’s been done over and over. The apps that came out have been great, and they’ve got probably 20-200 effects from Old School to Grunge. But there was always that ability to fine tune pictures that was missing from these apps. Until I found PhotoForge2. It’s not Photoshop or Lightroom (I want that graduated filter feature!!!), but hey, it works a charm.

I took these over the last few weeks, all of them in Melbourne. Enjoy!
