More Jasmine Star learning. I’m still on day 1, and while Jasmine goes pretty quick about some things, I still did learn some key tips.

1. Take photos of all the work people behind the scenes have done (cards, makeup, hair, musicians, lights, flowers, etc.) and send them high-res pictures as compliments. And be nice. It’s all about reciprocity.
2. When you’re about to go, don’t forget to say your thank yous to everybody, even though you might have to stay around til late.
3. Shoot the suit if the groom’s wearing Armani, or the bride has Jimmy Choos. Or they’re drinking a special cocktail. Shoot the specials!
4. Integrate all the details in the picture as stylishly as possible. Magazine editors like these!
5. Lastly. It’s OK to fail and sink into the lowest depths of failures. What matters is what you learnt out of it.
